'Bama, Tigers top AP poll

They're BAAAACK!!! Alabama and LSU are back in the one-two positions in the weekly Associated Press college football rankings after number two Southern Cal lost 21-14 to Stanford. The two SEC West rivals were ranked first and second for eight weeks last season, with the Tigers in the top spot. That changed when Alabama beat LSU in the BCS championship game. Southern Cal took a big drop, all the way to 13th after the loss. Stanford, ranked 21st before the game, moved up to number nine.
