Ashburn man charged in January Houston County homicide

A 23-year-old Ashburn man has been charged with murder in the Jan. 14 death of a man found deceased in the backyard of a Houston County home. While investigating the death of 30-year-old Kerry Benald Glenn, Houston County Deputies received information from the Turner County Sheriff’s Office that helped them identify the suspect as Jamarcus Akeem Clark. Clark was arrested Sunday. Glenn’s body was discovered by a family friend near the back porch of the home he shared with other family members. He died from a single gunshot wound to the head. Clark is being held at the Houston County Detention Center without bond.
