Theft charges filed in jewelry thefts

A Warner Robins man is accused of cleaning out jewelry boxes while his girlfriend was cleaning homes. 31-year-old Blaine Ashley Hellwig was arrested Saturday evening, around 9:30p.m. According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release, Hellwig’s girlfriend, Corrie Bradbury, owned a house cleaning service called, “Interior Cleaning”. Hellwig would go with Bradbury as she was cleaning different residences in the north Bibb County area. As Bradbury was occupied with her house cleaning duties, Hellwig would go through the homes and commit the thefts. Investigators believe that Bradbury was unaware of Hellwig’s activities. Investigators recovered over 15 lbs. of stolen jewelry, old coins, and flatware. Bradbury was charged with 16 counts of Fiduciary Theft. He bonded out of jail Tuesday. This is an ongoing investigation and additional charges are expected if you are a client of this service and have discovered that items were missing, please contact Investigator Jack Cleveland at 478-621-5650.
