An elderly man accused in a fatal shooting at a Macon gas station last year is back in jail. According to Veronica Brinson, attorney for 73-year-old Frank Reeves, the family made decision to return Reeves to jail because they were unable to comply with the court's previous bond order due to health reasons. Reeves was arrested in early December for the shooting death of 65-year-old Linda Hunnicutt. Police say Reeves shot Hunnicutt at the Murphy's Express gas station on Gray Highway after his motorized wheelchair came in contact with her car. Reeves was released on bond in March and ordered to wear an ankle monitor and was not allowed to leave home except for medical and court appointments.
